Level 1 is designed for dancers, ages 5-7 years, who are ready to build upon the skills learned in Creative Movement and begin more structured dance training. In this exciting and engaging program, students are introduced to the fundamentals of Ballet, Tap, and Jazz while developing confidence, coordination, and a love for dance.
Through age-appropriate instruction, dancers learn basic technique, musicality, rhythm, and dance terminology in a positive and encouraging environment. Classes are thoughtfully designed to keep students engaged through creative activities while helping them develop focus, discipline, and classroom etiquette.
Dancing in a room full of peers- can feel overwhelming for young dancers. At KD Dance Studio, we believe performance pressure shouldn't hold kids back; it should propel them forward. Through intentional guidance and positive encouragement, we teach students how to quiet their nerves and trust their preparation. Level 1 is a great first step into the dance spotlight. Every dancer progresses at their own speed. While age-based grouping helps kids build strong social bonds with peers, at KD Dance Studio, talent has no ceiling. We continuously evaluate our dancers' growth, ensuring that hard work, passion, and skill propel students forward as soon as they’re ready for the next level- never holding anyone back.
